Bandai Entertainment Adds The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya

Subbed screenings start in San Francisco on May 21, in Hawaii in mid-June
The North American anime distributor Bandai Entertainment has announced that it has licensed The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya anime film from Kadokawa Pictures Inc. It will begin running English-subtitled screenings of the film at San Francisco's Viz Cinema on May 21, followed by a theatrical run in Hawaii in the middle of June. Bang Zoom Entertainment is co-producing the English-language adaptation, and a DVD release will ship at a date to be announced later.
