Osamu Dezaki's Black Jack OVA Gets 11th Volume
posted on by Egan Loo
The Black Jack original video anime series by the late director Osamu Dezaki will get an 11th and final volume, more than a decade after the previous volume. The video anime series adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's manga originally ran from 1993 to 2000. Not only will Akio Ohtsuka and Yuko Mizutani reprise their respective voice roles of Black Jack and Pinoko, but they will record their lines during a live video stream on the Nico Nico Douga website on Saturday, May 14 at 2:00 p.m. Japan Time (1:00 a.m. EDT).
Central Park Media's U.S. Manga Corps label released the previous volumes in North America. The English-dubbed version is also now available on the iTunes Store in the United States.
