Warner Develops Live-Action Film of Tite Kubo's Bleach Manga

Wrath of the Titans writer Dan Mazeau, Get Smart's Peter Segal, actor/producer Masi Oka attached
The Variety entertainment trade news source is reporting on Wednesday that Warner Brothers licensed the live-action feature rights to Tite Kubo's manga and anime Bleach and is now developing the project. It has assigned Dan Mazeau (Wrath of the Titans) to write a script. Peter Segal (Get Smart) is attached as a producer with a possibility of being the director as well.
The other producers include Segal's Callahan Filmworks partner Michael Ewing, Masi Oka (Heroes), and Jason Hoffs at Viz Productions (a subsdiary of Viz Media). Branon Coluccio will be an executive producer.
