Shana's Watanabe directs anime of ninja action game premiering on January 6
A television commercial began airing for the winner Sayaka Sasaki.
Takashi Watanabe (Shakugan no Shana, Slayers) is directing the series at the anime studio Artland. Takao Yoshioka (Sekirei, Elfen Lied) is in charge of the series scripts, while Takashi Torii is serving as the character designer and chief animation director. The character designs for the franchise were originally created by Nan Yaegashi while Yukinori Kitajima (Okamiden) assisted in creating its original story.
The anime will premiere on the AT-X channel on January 6. (It will then run on other channels, such as Tokyo MX TV on Janary 10.)
