Pokémon Go Game's Update With Generation 2 Pokémon Now Available

The official Johto region in the Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver games.

In addition to new Pokémon, gender-specific variations are now available in the game. Some evolutions of Kanto-region Pokémon into new Pokémon require Evolution items that are available at PokéStops.

Nanab Berries and Pinap Berries are also now available in the game. Nanab Berries slow Pokémon movements to make them easier to catch, while Pinap Berries double the number of Candies players receive after a successful capture. Item carousels allow players to select Berries and Poké Balls from the encounter screen.

New hats, shirts, pants, and other items are also available for avatars.
