Initial D's AE86 Swings By Shinjuku with Tofu to Promote New Movie

A promotional campaign for the Toyota AE86 Trueno), inviting fans to gawk at an AE86 decorated to look exactly like the character's from the series, complete with the Fujiwara Tofu Shop logo.
It's currently on display on the first floor of the Shinjuku Picadilly, alongside tofu-bearing race queens Megumi Haruna, Tsukasa Arai, and Hino Reika.
The film is the first in a planned open throughout Japan on August 23. Advance tickets are now on sale for 1,200 yen ($12) with a Akina Speed Stars stickers, while suplies last.
For those who'd rather experience the thrill of driving Takumi's car in real life, they can head to Hakone, where fun2drive Owners' Club offers a Initial D cars.
