Sony President, Square Enix CEO Settle the Score in Call of Duty: Black Ops III

Not one to go back on his word, both parties showed up to battle in a live-streamed event on Nico Nico Douga on Friday. Viewers were also treated to a lottery where three viewers won a wireless headset and wireless Dualshock 4 Crystal controller. A total of 36,223 viewers tuned in to see the victor.
The match started with an audience vote. 58.3% picked Matsuda as the likely winner while 41.7% picked Morita. Final Fantasy XIV producer and director Shūhei Yoshida chimes in his "" for Morita which amounted to half-hearted reminders to smile even though Matsuda is known to be really good. The two faced off in two matches. Morita's kill/death ratio was 4/21 and 5/21 while Matsuda was 6/19 and 13/21. After the first two rounds, they ed the controls off to their employees for four more matches.
In the end, Square Enix won the most rounds. The match an extra bit of history behind it. Square Enix Japan used to publish the Call of Duty: Black Ops series in Japan. Sony Computer Entertainment took over distribution for Call of Duty: Black Ops III's PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions.
