Shokotan: Sukashi Kashipan Man Gets U.S. Live-Action Project

Shōko Nakagawa reports on plans in Sunday blog entry about her hero character
Eyeshield 21 actress known to fans as "Shokotan," has reported in a Sunday blog entry that her Sukashi Kashipan Man hero character has an unspecified live-action project planned in America. She acknowledges that this development sounds like an April Fool's joke, but insists it is true.
In 2007, Nakagawa created an illustration of a hero character based on her interest in sand dollars (sukashikashipan) and sweet buns (kashi pan). After showcasing the design on her blog and television appearances, Nakagawa turned the character in a mini-Anime Expo in Los Angeles last July.
