California's AM2 to Show Madhouse's Mai Mai Miracle

The Japanese pop culture convention AM2 announced on Tuesday that it will show the 2009 anime film Mai Mai Miracle at its July 1-3 event at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. Although entrance to the convention is free, only those who purchase a "port" (which provides priority access to events and other extras) will be able to attend the screening. ports range in price from US$25.00 to US$50.00 depending on when they are purchased and for which day(s) of the convention.
AM2 has not revealed which day the Mai Mai Miracle screening will take place. It will be the film's first in the United States outside of New York City, where the New York International Children's Film Festival screened in Canada at the Fan Expo's Anime Film Fest.
