Gintama Manga Reaches 'Climax' of Final Arc

Manga entered final arc in January 2016, celebrates 14th anniversary in next issue
This year's ninth issue of Hideaki Sorachi's Gintama manga will reach the "climax" of the final arc in the magazine's 10th issue, which will ship on February 5.
The 10th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump is also celebrating the 14th anniversary of the manga. Gintama will be featured on the cover of the issue, and the chapter on February 5 will include a color page.
Sorachi began the manga in 2004 and it entered its final arc in July 2016.
The current anime series premiered on October 1, and began with the "streaming the series as it airs in Japan.
Crunchyroll various OVAs and event anime.
The manga also inspired a live-action sequel this summer.
