Screen International Magazine: Jee-woon Kim's Next Film Is Live-Action Jin-Roh

In an feature published on Saturday, Screen International magazine reported that the next project of South Korean director Jin-Roh - The Wolf Brigade anime film. In addition to Jin-Roh, the magazine quotes Kim, "I'm also working on a low-budget mystery horror with an American company that I can't reveal yet."

The Korean media portal Osen Warner Brothers Korea's 2016 film The Age of Shadows, which follows a real-life Korean double agent during Japan's colonization of Korea before World War II.

The film written by Oshii (Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence) takes place in an alternate history of Japan, where a Special Forces team is tasked with preserving peace in Japan during a time of civil unrest. Special Forces member Kazuki Fuse witnesses a suicide bombing by a young girl, and is forced to undergo retraining within the unit.
