Horikoshi is himself in charge of the original story for the anime, and Yousuke Kuroda is writing the script. The episode is titled "Training of the Dead," and Horikoshi is also drawing new character designs for new characters who will appear in the anime. The television anime's official website revealed the OVA's character designs in January.
The 25-minute anime centers on a t practice session between Izuku's class and the other hero department students at U.A. Academy. The limited edition of the 14th volume will go on sale on June 2, and the pre-order period is between January 30 and April 3.
The manga's 13th compiled book volume will also bundle an anime when it ships on April 4. The original event anime debuted at the Jump Special Anime Festa event in November, and it links the first season of the anime with the second season.
The anime's first season of 13 episodes premiered on the dub.
The second season will recapping the first season. The new season will cover the U.A. Sports Festival arc of Kōhei Horikoshi's original manga.
Horikoshi launched the superhero manga series in Viz Media is publishing the manga digitally in its Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and in print.
