Ichigo 100% Sequel Manga's Illustration Revealed

This year's 18th issue of Strawberry 100%) manga, on Monday. The illustration features Aya Tōjō, one of the heroines from the previous manga series, with a line that teases "The heroine this time is...!? The long-awaited sequel gets serialized!"
The sequel will launch in Shueisha's Jump Giga magazine on April 28.
The original manga centers on middle school student Junpei Manaka and his relationships with the girls Aya Tōjō and Tsukasa Nishino. When he sees a beautiful girl on the rooftop of his school, he runs up to meet her, but only finds a notebook belonging to Aya Tōjō, a gifted writer with whom Junpei becomes fast friends. They pledge to turn her stories into films. Later, thinking that the girl he saw on the rooftop is Tsukasa Nishino, the most popular girl in school, Junpei asks her out. Tsukasa accepts, but Junpei finds out she wasn't the girl he saw. The story further chronicles the three's entrance into high school, and writing, directing, and starring in amateur films as Junpei tries to figure out the identity of the girl he saw that day.
Kawashita launched the Ichigo 100% (Strawberry 100%) manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2002, and Viz Media released the 14th volume in North America in 2010. The series was adapted into a television anime series, a four-episode video anime, and an anime special.
Kawashita's Gunjō ni Siren (Ultramarine Siren) manga in 2015, for which she revived her "Mikan Momokuri" pen name after 15 years.
