Atlus to Publish its Own Titles in Europe Going Forward

Video game news website Gamesindustry.biz reported on Thursday that game publisher Atlus (Persona, Etrian Odyssey series) will publish its own titles in Europe going forward. Atlus USA Senior PR Manager Jacob Nahin told the website that the development will mean "parity for launch and editions" for fans in Europe and North America.
According to Gamesindustry.biz, the new team will operate out of the London-based office of acquired Atlus USA last year, though the two companies continue to operate independently.
Atlus games have previously been released in Europe by third party publishers such as Deep Silver (Persona 5).
Atlus' former parent company Index Corporation came under arrested in 2014 for allegedly improper ing via fictitious transactions.
Index Corporation split Index into two different subsidiaries: Index and Atlus.
