GeGeGe no Kitaro Anime Reveals Visual for New Arc Starting on October 7

The official website for the new GeGeGe no Kitarō anime revealed on Saturday that the anime will enter a new arc on October 7 titled "Seiyō Yōkai-hen" (Western Yōkai Arc). The site also revealed a key visual for the arc, which features the Western yōkai Backbeard.
The arc will center on the Western yōkai world's treasure, the "Ring of Arcana." A witch names Agnes steals the ring and flees. The Western yōkai's strongest emperor, Backbeard, and its followers follow Agnes to Japan. Agnes encounters Kitaro, and asks for his help.
The anime premiered on April 1 and replaced streaming the series as it airs.
Toei Animation are producing.
