Final Fantasy XV Game's Digital Sales Plus Physical Shipments Top 8.1 Million Worldwide (Updated)

The official website for franchise noted on Friday that the Final Fantasy XV game's combined amount of digital sales and physical shipments has now reached 8.1 million copies worldwide.
Director announced last September that the game had shipped 6.5 million units worldwide, though he did not sepcify if that number was the combined digital and physical sales.
Final Fantasy XV went on received a Royal Edition for the PS4 and Xbox One on March 6. The new release includes the previously released Season DLC, as well as other features. The Windows Edition also launched on the same day.
The game's Pocket Edition for iOS and Android Nintendo Switch.
