Earth Defense Force 5 Game Listed With Steam Release This Month

Steam is currently listing that D3 Publisher will release the Earth Defense Force 5 game on the platform this month.
D3 Publisher describes the game:
Earth Defense Force 5 finds players taking up arms to defend Earth against a hostile alien invasion. In addition to hordes of alien insect invaders the series is famous for, the next installment in the fan favorite franchise also introduces a series-first with new humanoid aliens from the mysterious planet, Primer. the elite ranks of the EDF for an all-out war to protect peace on Earth -- and overcome the depths of despair of a world under siege with wisdom, courage, and fellow comrades.
The game delayed the game to improve its quality.
The game launched for the PS4 in the West on December 11.
