The action story is set in an underground world, shut in darkness without law or order. "The Hunter," a man with a mechanized steel body and shuriken-like weapons, travels in search of lost memories of his past. He and four others begin an epic battle with "Society K," the mysterious group that controls this realm.
The 20-volume Sorcerous Stabber Orphen (ADV Manga later published the manga (pictured at right). Akita's other works include Angel Howling, a 10-volume light novel series with 1 million copies in print.
