Musical Duo ClariS to Make Cameo in Oreimo Novel

The ninth volume of ClariS, a pair of middle school girls from Hokkaido. ClariS will also provide a theme song for the novel on an single, to be released on September 14.
ClariS sang the opening theme songs for both the Oreimo and ranked at #6 in the top-selling CD singles by new artists in Japan in 2010.
The story of Oreimo follows the daily life of an ordinary high school boy named Kyōsuke Kōsaka. Kyōsuke's younger sister Kirino is a pretty fashion model — but also a secret otaku of adult games. Kyōsuke is the only person to whom Kirino reveals her hidden obsession and other issues.
Fushimi has been writing the light novel volumes since 2008, and ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's magazine since 2009.
