5 Japanese theaters to run "TV version" at same time as August 26 airing
The official website for Evangelion: 2.0 You Can [Not] Advance at the same time as the film airs on television on Friday, August 26.
The film will screen at T-Joy Hakata in Fukuoka.
Fans can purchase tickets to the event in two ways: enter a lottery through the LAWSON Ticket website between August 1 - August 10, or purchase tickets on the same website starting August 20. Tickets cost 1,000 yen each ($12.80).
Evangelion: 2.0 You Can [Not] Advance originally released the film on DVD and Blu-ray in North America in March.
