Idol to also act as beta-tester, star in commercial for Square Enix sequel game
AKB48 member Yūko Ōshima has designed two costumes for the Square Enix sequel role-playing game Final Fantasy XIII-2. Ōshima will also star in a commercial for the game. The commercial will have Ōshima attending a Final Fantasy XIII-2 development meeting and proposing her costume ideas. Ōshima is also acting as a beta tester for the game.
When the commercial begins its broadcast on November 15, the official site for the game's beta testers will post the two costumes and hold a popularity contest. The costume that wins the contest will be used in the game.
Square Enix will receive the game on January 31, and Europe will receive it on February 3.
