Arakawa Under the Bridge Pop-Up Shop to Open in Tokyo

The Parco department store in Tokyo's Ikebukuro district will host a pop-up shop for the Hikaru Nakamura's comedy manga, along with original and reproduced manga art. The shop celebrates the release of the live-action show's Blu-ray & DVD boxes on November 23.
In the story, an upper-class young man named Ko "Riku" Ichinomiya (Nana Katase). On November 19, 23, 26, and 27, the Village Chief will make a special appearance for photo opportunities — although Parco cautions that its Village Chief will not be played by Oguri.
People who spend 3,000 yen ($39) or more on original goods such as mobile phone straps (pictured left) will receive an exclusive Arakawa Under the Bridge clear file (pictured above).
