LovePlus Virtual Girlfriends Get Shōnen Mag Photoshoot

Manaka Takane, Rinko Kobayakawa, and Nene Anegasaki — the three "girlfriends" in the Weekly Shōnen Magazine next Wednesday. They will be the first game characters to get their own gravure photo spread in the magazine.

The three characters will return in New LovePlus, the franchise's latest Nintendo 3DS system on Valentine's Day. The game will depict the current season in real time and have the girls doing appropriate activities for any given time of year. In that spirit, the theme of the four-page photo spread is "The Four Seasons."

The same issue of the magazine will run a "New LovePlus Special One Shot" manga by Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine on December 9.
