Metal Gear's Kojima: Project Ogre to Have Open World

Game developer posts images created using Kojima Productions' FOX Engine software

Game developer CNN news agency in a phone interview last week that his new "Project Ogre" title will be set in an open world. Kojima told CNN, "Rather than making something very cinematic, [I plan to] make something very free." Kojima also mentioned in the interview that the game will provide around 100 hours of gameplay. Kojima added that players will be able to explore the world freely.

Last week Kojima Twitter (pictured at right) from his "new work" that was created using the FOX Engine, a new software developed by Kojima Productions.

Earlier today, Kojima also posted an image displaying what the FOX Engine's avatar creator can do, noting that it took about one hour to create the avatar.

Kojima PlayStation Magazine on November 29. In it, Kojima described the tone of Project Ogre as "subdued."

Developed by Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in 2012.
