Higurashi's Ryukishi07 to Launch New Series This Year

1st new series in a year to have entirely different setting from previous works
In a New Year's greeting on his production blog, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) creator Ryukishi07 revealed on Monday that he will launch a new serial work this year. The title will be his first new series in a year. The title logo is now being produced, and he will announce the project when he can.
Ryukishi07 noted that the new work will have a completely different world setting than his previous works have had, so he will greatly enjoy the actual writing process.
Besides Higurashi, Ryukishi07 has dōjin (self-publishing) circle.
