NY Asian Film Fest to Screen Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

Old Boy star Choi Min-Sik added to guest lineup
The organizers of the New York Asian Film Festival Oldboy manga, will be attending the festival as a guest, and the festival will also be screening his latest film Nameless. The 11th annual film festival will run from June 29 to July 15 at the Walter Reade Theater and Japan Society.
Miike's adaptation of franchise takes place in a parallel Japan, where a large increase in harsh crimes has led to a new court system. Under this new system, the defense attorney and public prosecutor have three days to battle cases out in open court to determine guilt or innocence of the accused, placing priority on speed instead of thorough investigation.
The film play at California's AM2 convention next month.
