Ah My Goddess Creator Fujishima Draws Fair Mascot Girl

The event.
The event's official website is currently hosting a contest to select a name for the mascot girl. People can use an online form to submit a name until June 29. A committee will select the character's name from the submissions, and the winner will receive a paper board signed by Fujishima.
The fair will have booths to introduce new works, and the Heian Jingu Shrine will host live events, Kansai-area companies to create new works.
The event will be held in Kyoto's Miyako Messe event hall and Heian Jingu Shrine from September 21-23. The first day of the event, September 21, will be a business day, and then on September 22-23 the event will be open to the general public. ission will be 1,000 yen ($12) for adults, 500 yen ($6) for middle and high school students, and free for elementary students and younger.
