Persona 4: Golden Game Gets Real-Life Ribbon Soda

Ribbon Citron appeared as in-game item in 1st Persona 4 RPG

Producers of the Atlus' original Persona 4 game in 2008.

Beginning on July 2, select 500-milliliter cans of Ribbon Citron will feature Persona 4: The Golden character designs for a limited time. A related present campaign will also run until September 30 and select 160 people to receive special items in a random drawing. The prizes are 10 Persona 4: The Golden games for the PlayStation Vita, 50 "Ribbon Citron x Persona 4: The Golden" original T-shirts, and 100 24-can cases of the collaboration soda.

The game will be an expanded PlayStation Vita Shigenori Soejima is returning to design the characters, and Meguro will again handle the soundtrack.

Persona 4 Golden will include remastered visuals, additional voiced dialogue, an online dungeon feature, and new Personas. The game will also feature Marie, a new character voiced by Kana Hanazawa, as well as new animated footage, additional story events to interact with other characters in work and school, and new costumes for battles.

Atlus will and in North America this fall.

An anime short series inspired by Sapporo Beverage's mascot character Ribbon-chan premiered in Japan on April 4.
