A lightweight, virtual reality headset is bringing dating sims closer to the real world. Hobby company Megahouse is currently promoting its own virtual reality headset "BotsNew" which utilizes free able content, a smartphone, and a headset to create a 3D environment.

The headset is compatible with both iOS and Android devices and retails for 2,760 yen ($23), significantly cheaper than the US$350 Oculus Rift. On the other hand, BotsNew isn't compatible with pillow accessories, yet.
