PS4s with Silent Hills Demo Selling for Over US$1,500

When the mobile game Flappy Bird was taken off the market last year, sales of mobile phones with the game installed were quickly put on auction sites to the tune of US$300 to US$90,000. The sales on eBay technically violated the site's of Service, which required smartphones and tablets to be restored to their factory settings. Many were pulled by eBay before anyone was able to drop cash on the listings.
available in the U.S. One listing for a PS4 with the demo installed sold for US$1,800. Others have been removed by eBay before sales went through.
The P.T. demo was originally released as a teaser for Kojima and cancelled Silent Hills game.
The title featured game director Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear), acclaimed film director Iron Man: Rise of Technovore). The credits listed Kojima Production (with its Fox Engine software) and Konami.
