'Tentacle Master' Toshio Maeda Discusses Figures & Akihabara in French TV Program

The French television program toco toco began streaming its interview with "Tentacle Master" and Toshio Maeda on Wednesday.
Maeda began his career in in the 1980s. He reveals in the video that he was debating between creating manga for children or adults, but in the end chose adults because the career shelf life was much longer. The popularity he gained from Urotsukidoji eventually got him offers to create children's series anyway. Maeda is now partially retired and enjoys the figure shop Fewture Shop Akiba in Akihabara. He also recommends a multi-level adult toy shop for visitors who want to see something other than anime goods.
Maeda attended this year's Anime Expo in 2014 and 2013.
