120 'Painful' Cars Will Converge on Motor Park in Maibara

Japan's itasha cars run the gambit from sightings in Miami. Whatever the flavor, itasha cars are usually a rare occurrence.

This weekend, a meeting of itasha drivers and their beloved vehicles will coverage on the Okuibuki Motor Park in Maibara, Shiga as part of the ARC Championship IV. The free event is open to viewing and anyone owning an itasha regardless of the vehicle's make and model. So long as the car is covered in video game, manga, or anime images, the driver is welcome to participate. A special Hatsune Miku itasha will also be on display along with plenty of K-ON! cars. Prizes will be awarded throughout the day to the estimated 120 participants.
