Makoto Shinkai Praises Euphonium 2 Compilation Film

Director and current anime golden child Twitter on Wednesday that the "script, picture, sound, color, composition, voice acting, and everything was wonderfully splendid."
He said this film was his first introduction to Sound! Euphonium, but that regardless the story was not hard to understand and was "amazing." According to Shinkai, he couldn't tell that it was a re-edit of a television series and it works as a stand-alone film about adolescence.
