Fans, Creators Applaud Animation of Fate/Apocrypha's 22nd Episode

The animation of the Fate/Apocrypha anime's 22nd episode is wowing fans and creators alike. Viewers have taken to social media to praise the animation of the battle between Karna (Lancer of Red) and Siegfried (Saber of Black) since the episode, titled "Saikai to Betsuri" (Reunion and Farewell), debuted on Saturday.
Kinoko Nasu attended a private showing for the episode. He said on his blog, "I saw something amazing and wonderful. It can only be described as a masterpiece." He said he felt the animation would even stand up to appearing on a 200-inch screen.
The animation directors for the episode were Rio. The episode marked the first time Go worked independently as a director.
Go was previously in charge of several episodes of the Yana Toboso also lavished praise on Go's work on the latest episode of Fate/Apocrypha. Toboso said on Twitter, "I'm in awe after seeing episode 22 of Fate/Apocrypha. What kind of magic do you use to keep moving with that number of lines and quality for 30 minutes...!?" She added, "What kind of person is Hakuyu Go!?"
The anime adaptation of debuted on Netflix in all other territories outside of Japan, the United States, and Canada on December 2.
