posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins

The 25th chapter of Initial D protagonist Takumi Fujiwara after the manga's ending.

The chapter explains that Takumi went to England, and rumors are flying that MF Ghost protagonist Kanata became a student of Takumi's.

MF Ghost takes place in the 2020s, when self-driving cars are ubiquitous in Japan. The manga centers on Kanata Livington, a Japanese driver who goes back to Japan after graduating at the top of his class at a racing school in England. The series also focuses on the MFG, a racing circuit on public roads that has garnered attention worldwide.

Takumi's famous car, the Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno, or "Hachiroku" has also appeared in the series. Kanata drove a red version in the manga's seventh chapter.

Shigeno launched MF Ghost in Young Magazine on September 4. Kodansha published the manga's first volume on January 5, and the manga has 250,000 copies in print. Kodansha will publish the manga's second volume on May 7.

Shigeno launched the manga in June 2015 and Kodansha published the sixth and final volume on June 6.

Shigeno films, the third of which opened in February 2016.
