Weekly Shonen Jump Asks Readers to Write Letters of for Possible Teenage Renaissance! David Anime

Creator Yūshin Kuroki said he'd like to go to Italy if an anime were announced.

In this week's issue of anime adaptation in the works.

Weekly Shonen Jump also encouraged readers to send in suggestions and messages of for collaborations (with museums, schools, exhibits, etc.) involving Teenage Renaissance! David. They ask for readers to send letters to the address below with the subject line: "I couldn't say it, but to tell you the truth I really wanted it to be made into an anime!"

Yūshin Kuroki also left a message giving his regards to the readers for 2019, and said that if an anime adaptation ever is announced, he would like to take a trip to Italy for research. If readers show enough , perhaps he'll get his wish within the year.

Teenage Renaissance! David is about a "typical Japanese high school student" who looks exactly like Michelangelo's David statue. The gag manga debuted alongside I'm From Japan! in September last year and was Kuroki previously published a one-shot with the same title in Weekly Shonen Jump earlier in the same year.
