Play as Dummy Head Microphone in Pretty Boy VR Game
posted on by Kim Morrissy
You can't fault VR games for their creative setups. Damihe ni nareru VR (Become a Dummy Head Microphone VR), is a new VR app that will go on sale in Japan on March 29. The setup is that two male voice actors are alone in a room together, and the player is a dummy head microphone that gets to witness all the shenanigans.
The game released a trailer on Tuesday showing off the characters and voice actors.
The game has two main stories: "The Elevator Story" and "the Ferris Wheel Story." They are written by Kaoru Curry-zawa (Kremlin).

The stories can be experienced in several different modes. The "VR mode" shows puts you inside the recording booth, where you can watch the two voice actors act out the roles. The "Illustration mode" shows footage with illustrations of the characters. The "Voice-only mode" allows you to listen to the voices without having to watch anything on screen.
Tomo Kurahashi drew the key visuals and illustrations of the characters for each story mode.
The game will be available for both smartphones and Sony Music Shop.
