X Japan's Yoshiki Interviewed by BBC

The X Japan, which can be seen above. The interview relates to YOSHIKI's participation in the "Sing for Life" video, a collaboration between Bono, YOSHIKI, Will.i.am and Jennifer Hudson. The song was based on Bono's previous song, "Let Your Love Be Known."
In the interview, shown on BBC World News, YOSHIKI talks about urging fans to recognise the severity of coronavirus. He talks of his fans as being "maybe more important" than his life. "Because my life was surrounded by death," YOSHIKI says. My father committed suicide, my bandmember died [referring to guitarist Hideto "Hide" Matsumoto], my fans are the ones who saved me, saved my life. So I really want to my fans."

X Japan's most notable anime contributions were the songs in the reunited in 2007, ten years after they first disbanded and nine years after the death of Matsumoto.
