Godzilla Minus One is Highest-Earning Live-Action Japanese Film at U.K. and Ireland Box-Office

Godzilla Minus One has now earned more than £1 million on its release in the U.K. and Ireland. It is also the highest-ever grossing Japanese live-action film at the UK & Ireland box-office.
The film went on release in the UK and Ireland from December 15, including IMAX, ScreenX and 4DX screenings. Screening details are at https://godzillafilm.co.uk/.
The film takes place in Japan following World War II. Kuranosuke Sasaki.

Yamazaki is the director and writer, and is also credited for visual effects. Yamazaki has primarily directed live-action films, including the Stand By Me Doraemon.
TOHO made the original announcement on last year's "Godzilla Day."
TOHO's previous Japanese live-action installment in its iconic and long-running opening in Japan in July 2016.
