Ghibli crew working on new Playstation RPG

IGN PSX reports that the animators at Virtua Fighter 3tb. Reportedly, the RPG will feature polygonal characters and re-rendered backgrounds similar to what was seen in Final Fantasy VII. It is rumored that a big name American publisher is looking into an American release for late '99 or early '00.
