Bandai Japan acquires Ashi Productions

Bandai adds the company responsible for the production of Macross 7 to its fold

The Ashi Productions, producers of Macross 7, to its list of subsidiaries. Bandai, which own 90% of Ashi Productions' stock, is seen as having made the move in order to improve its profit margins in the merchansing area.
In addition to 1994's Sengoku Majin Goshōgun (1981) - TV-Series
Other Banpresto / Bandai subsidiaries include Bandai Visual, and Cardas amongst many others.
