Anicashi.jp website is fully authorized by Japanese lyricists
Anicashi.jp, an official website for searching for the lyrics of songs linked to anime, character voices, and special-effects series, launched a public beta test in Japan on December 15. Unlike similar offerings in Japan and outside Japan, Anicashi.jp is fully authorized by the Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC), the society that manages copyrights for Japanese lyricists. Anicashi.jp plans to officially open in early 2008 with more features in addition to the search function.
The site allows s to search by artist, song title, tie-in program and series, or any phrase within the lyrics. For example, entering "Etsuko Nishio's "Jaja Uma ni Sasenai de" opening theme for Ranma 1/2.
