Spirited Away Voted #3 Foreign Film in British Poll

Outvoted by Pan's Labyrinth, Amélie; tied with Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Pearl & Dean, a British film advertising firm, announced the results of an audience survey it commissioned, and Laberinto del Fauno) fantasy from Mexico, followed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Amélie (Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain) slice-of-life film from . Fernando Meirelles and Kátia Lund's City of God (Cidade de Deus), which adapted a gritty semiautobiographical of life in the Brazilian slums, rounded out the top five. Spirited Away was the only animated film on the top ten list.
