Bakugan to Debut on Cartoon Network on February 25

Anime based on hybrid card/marble game from Sega Toys, Spin Master
America's Sonic X) of Japan and Spin Master (Air Hogs) of Canada. The anime premiered in Japan last April, and it debuted in Canada in last July. The cards and toys themselves have also appeared on American toy shelves.
The anime tells the adventures of Daniel (Danma "Dan" Kūsō in Japanese) and his friends after they discover a seemingly innocent card game that is tied to an alternate world named Vestroia. The card battles they wage begin to summon Bakugan (Japanese for "exploding spheres") warriors when Vestroia's wars spill over to Earth. One warrior in particular, Dragonoid (Drago for short), becomes Dan's guardian Bakugan.
The anime features Nelvana has licensed the anime for North America.
