Hana Yori Dango Gets Korean Live-Action TV Remake

CRIEnglish.com reports that a South Korean live-action television series will be the latest adaptation of shōjo magazine, and was published in individual volumes between 1992 and 2004 in Japan. 58 million copies of those Japanese volumes have been sold.
Hana Yori Dango has also been adapted into an anime series and movie, as well as two live-action series that released the manga and anime versions in North America.
In related news, Jun Matsumoto (Tsukasa) had travelled to Hong Kong during February 11-16 for an earlier film shoot, and then arrived at Las Vegas on February 19. Between the two location shoots, the cast travelled 25,000 kilometers (16,000 miles). The second Japanese television series scored a record 27.6% average rating and an instantaneous high rating of 32.3%. The film will open in Japan on June 28.
