Speed Racer Announced for Distribution on Crunchyroll (Updated)

The announced today that it will offer the Speed Racer animated series via ad-ed, subscription, and -to-own video services. The press release states that the car-racing series will be available to watch starting today, but only three trailers for this year's live-action movie, the original opening theme, and an anime music video are on the website as of 6:00 p.m. ET. In addition to online streaming, the website plans to offer both individual episodes and digital "boxsets" with special extras through a -to-own service. The s in this service will have no digital rights management (DRM).
Speed Racer is the fourth Japanese animated project that the website announced that it is authorized to distribute, Mach Go Go Go television series.
Update: 52 episodes are now available for streaming at Crunchyroll.
