Gurren Lagann Music Clip Project's Trailer Streamed

New anime footage set to background music from TV series soundtrack
The official Japanese website for the Gurren Lagann Music Clip Project has opened with an introductory trailer. (The trailer requires recent versions of the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann television series. The creators are making a conscious effort of not following the continuity of the television series, and are instead creating "parallel works." The clips will be posted one-by-one starting this June.
The music clips, which were first previewed at Tokyo International Anime Fair 2008 in March, are separate from this September's Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: Guren-hen theatrical movie releasing the original television series in North America in box sets starting this July.
