Bandai Entertainment Confirms Gurren Lagann on Sci Fi Channel (Updated)

At California's FanimeCon event on Saturday, the anime distributor suggested it would.

Bandai Entertainment indicated it will use the original Greek/French pronunciation of the main character's name "Simon" (with the short "i" vowel), as opposed to the English pronunciation (with the long "i" vowel). Sci Fi Channel's run and Bandai Entertainment's first box set in July will include the same version of episode 6 that originally aired in Japan. However, Bandai Entertainment's later bilingual DVD release will include both this version and the updated version that premiered in the Japanese DVD release.
