Skip Beat! Shōjo Manga Confirmed for TV Anime in Fall

Anime to feature director, head scripter, animators of Angel Sanctuary
The Japanese media production company shōjo manga will be animated for television this fall. The story revolves around a teenaged girl named Kyōko who followed her childhood friend Shō to Tokyo as he pursues his dream of becoming a star. Despite playing housekeeper and taking care of Shō, Kyōko overhears Shō dismissing her as a boring nobody. Furious, Kyōko vows to also become a singer and defeat Shō.
Viz Media will ship the 13th volume of the manga in North America in two weeks.
