Japanese Box Office, September 27–28: 20th Drops to #5 (Updated)

The first segment of Kamikaze Girls film, dropped from #2 to #3 in its third weekend.

Tomoyuki Takimoto's live-action Takeshi Yagi's newest entry in the Ultraman franchise, also fell from #6 to #9 in its third weekend.

Toshio Lee's live-action Detroit Metal City rock parody manga slipped from #8 off the chart in its sixth weekend. It had earned 2.3–2.5 billion yen (US$21–24 million) before the weekend.
